Description

The City of Penticton is seeking Proposals from qualified Audit Firms to perform Audit Services with respect to the City’s financial statements. The City’s fiscal year runs January 1 to December 31 and requires audited financial statements to be completed annually by May 15.

Audits must be planned and executed in accordance with Canadian generally accepted auditing standards and the provisions of the Local Government Act and Community Charter. Audits will result in the Service Provider issuing an Independent Auditor’s Report to the Municipal Council as to the fairness of the annual consolidated financial statements and related schedules.

The contract term shall be for a period of three (3) fiscal-years, with two (2) one (1) year options to renew. Services are anticipated to commence in September 2025.
