Description

This RFP seeks responses from qualified and experienced proponents to supply portable and mobile AFRRCS P25 two-way communication radios. The radios must be NFPA 1802 compliant, listed on AFRCCS’s Permitted Radio List and meet the following requirements, including but not limited to:

(a) Performance: high clarity of transmission, noise cancellation and the operation of portable and remote speaker microphone (RSM) with gloves.
(b) Ergonomics: Control knobs on the portable and RSM, emergency alert button and size, ergonomically designed in its shape, weight and size
(c) Features: GPS, bluetooth, screen locations, function for scanning and encrypted
(d) Battery: Size, weight and capacity
(e) Ratings/Certifications: Thermal class rating on portable, RSM, and most importantly RSM cord, operating temperatures, IP standards and mil spec ratings.

Required equipment include but is not limited to, portable radios, mobile radios, speaker mics, chargers, cases, batteries, accessories, programming cable and software.
