1220-2025-3769 - RFP- City of Abbotsford – Recreation Centres and MSA Arena – Ice Rinks – Ice Plant Refrigeration Systems Maintenance, Inspection and Repair Services

The City of Abbotsford  requires qualified and experienced firm to provide maintenance, inspections, service and repairs for the three ice plant systems at the City’s ice rinks located at:

MRC-Matsqui Recreation Centre3106 Clearbrook Road (1 sheet of ice)
ARC-Abbotsford Recreation Centre34690 Old Yale Road   (1-1/4 sheets)
MSA Arena2323 Emerson Road     (1 sheet)

The RFP invites proposals to select a qualified and experienced firm (“Contractor”) to maintain the City’s Ice plant refrigeration systems and equipment to a high standard of performance.  The Contractor shall provide all labour, parts and materials, tools, equipment, fuel and transportation necessary to complete Ice Plant Refrigeration Systems Maintenance, Inspection, Repair and Services at the City’s ice rinks noted above.

The contract is anticipated to begin on September 1, 2025, for an initial term of three (3) years, with an option in favour of the City to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for two (2) one-year extension periods, by mutual agreement.
