Description

The Ontario Public Service (OPS) ministries, including the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks, and the Ontario Provincial Police, depend on boats, motors, and trailers to perform critical operations across Ontario’s waterways. These assets support a range of essential activities, from enforcement patrols to scientific research and resource management. Supply Ontario aims to enhance the procurement process to ensure reliable, efficient, and compliant access to these resources.
Scope of Work
Supply Ontario is seeking qualified vendors to supply and provide support of boats, motors, and trailers that could meet the operational needs of Ontario Public Sector (OPS) ministries across the province, including in remote and northern regions. Respondents are asked to provide details on their capabilities to meet Transport Canada standards, and insights on product categories, delivery logistics, and post-sale service options. Supply Ontario is also interested in understanding how vendors address supply chain challenges and implement innovations that could enhance the procurement process and align with the evolving needs of OPS ministries.
