The proposed contract involves the provision of approximately 5.538 kilometres of forest road deactivation within the BC Timber Sales, Strait of Georgia Business Area, specifically in the Port Alberni Operating Area near Sproat Lake. The work will be conducted primarily on Antler Main, accessed via South Taylor Main.
This opportunity encompasses road deactivation, erosion control, bridge and culvert removal, and debris management.
The successful contractor will be expected to provide all necessary equipment, qualified personnel, and logistical support to carry out the work in varied and potentially remote terrain. Projects will be assigned throughout the fiscal year based on Ministry priorities and will require adherence to detailed performance standards and environmental protection measures.
