.1 Section 2.5: Delete section 2.5.1 and replace with "The unit of measure for and placed
asphalt paving to be used for road cuts and driveway aprons will be the scaled metric
tonne. The price shall include all costs involved to supply, transport, place and roll NBDTI
Type D seal asphalt to the compacted thicknesses shown on the drawings.
Driveway aprons are to be 50mm thick. Gravels will be paid for under their respective unit
rates."

Sealed Tenders properly marked as to contents addressed to the undersigned will be received until 2:00 PM, local time, Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Sussex NB, E4E 3E4.
The public tender opening will be held immediately after the 2:00 PM closing.
The project is located in the Town of Sussex. The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to,the supply and installation of aggregate base courses, asphalt paving, concrete sidewalk,topsoil and sodding.

Bidders must be registered with CBCL Limited by emailing abranscombe@cbcl.ca, 48 hours prior to the tender closing to have their bid submission accepted.
A Bid Bond OR Certified Cheque, payable to Sussex, in the amount of 10% of the Total Amount
Payable, must also accompany each Tender.
Sussex reserves the right to reject any and all tenders and also reserves the right to not necessarily accept the lowest Tender.
