Description

Prior to initiating the new RFB, which the Ministry seeks to award in 2026, the approach is to conduct an extensive Request for Information (RFI) to be released to Ontario Service Providers to:

• Purpose here is to explore alternative business models and service levels in an interactive setting.
• Gather information about market-ready Microsoft Teams Room-certified services, service models options, and individual vendor differentiators.
• Explore various deployment, support, and lifecycle strategies suitable for OPS-scale implementations.
• Identify best practices for service delivery & technical support SLAs
• Inform the development of a future procurement strategy, business case, evaluation priorities and a Transition-In roadmap.
• De-risk future procurement by clarifying technical standards, support expectations, and project requirements.
• Would like to release the RFI June 24, 2025 – Would like to release an RFB in October of 2025 and have a new contract ready by April of 2026.
• To cover Ontario from south (Windsor) to North (Hudson Bay). Services required across Ontario.
