Description

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to meet the following two objectives and obtain the following market information: 1. To gather information from the marketplace about current and prospective investments in wireline and wireless connectivity infrastructure in Parkland County. This includes details such as: • Locations of current and planned network deployments; • Timelines and technologies being used (e.g., fiber, fixed wireless, 5G); and • Network capacity and service levels. 2. To seek input from the marketplace about how respondents believe Parkland County can help support and accelerate their existing network investments, particularly in underserved areas of Parkland County. This includes details such as: • Identification of barriers to investment; • Recommendations for County support (e.g., permitting processes, access to municipal assets, co-investment models); and • Suggestions for policies and procedures that would facilitate efficient network deployment.
