Description

PRH Medical Gas Outlet Replacement located in , BC, will include replacing distribution piping and medical gas outlets to approximately 70 beds. The existing medical gas outlets and distribution piping provide Oxygen, Nitrous Oxide, Vacuum, and Medical Air in the Central Pavilion, originally constructed in 1952, and the South Pavilion, added in 1969. The medical gassystem is at the end of its useful life. The current system does not meet the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) requirements and replacement parts are difficult to source due to obsolescence. The affected departments include the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), South Pavilion Level 3 (SP3), Rehab, Renal Dialysis, Labor & Delivery (L&D), and Women & Children’s Health Services (WCHS).
