Description

British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority ("BC Hydro") is interested to obtain information about piling contractors capable of providing operational weather ensemble forecast system with a similar or better system, preferably with the ability to integrate next-generation ML-based models, fire-weather support, and station observation/satellite/radar display capabilities.

Purpose To replace our current operational weather ensemble forecast system with a similar or better system, preferably with the ability to integrate next-generation ML-based models, fire-weather support, and station observation/satellite/radar display capabilities. Ready within 12-18 months for testing, operationally ready by early 2027
