Description

BC Hydro plans to construct the new West End Substation (WTE), a 400 MVA ultimate (300 MVA initial) underground 230/25 kV substation at 1150 Nelson Street in Vancouver to replace Dal Grauer Substation. The new substation will be connected to BC Hydro’s Cathedral Square Substation and Horne Payne Substation via a new and an extended 230 kV underground circuit respectively.
