Description

The Kitimat Fire and Ambulance Service Department consists of 28 Firefighters and 4 Fire Captains. The department also has 2 Administrative Assistants, Training Officer, Deputy Chief of Prevention, Deputy Chief of Operations and a Fire Chief. Kitimat Fire and Ambulance Service performs a number of functions including fire prevention, public education, fire suppression, pre-hospital emergency care, hazard mitigation, high angle and confined space rescue, hazmat services and auto extrication. Each year the Kitimat Fire and Ambulance Service have an average of 200 fire-related calls. Proponents are requested to submit Proposals for the supply of one (1) Custom Fire Apparatus
