Description

The Ministry, on behalf of the Ontario Public Service (OPS), is seeking to procure a single Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) to provide a cloud-based Managed Security Service Edge (SSE) Solution (the “Solution”) for the Province of Ontario, enabling state-of-the-art secure access for OPS Mobile Users (MU), OPS sites, and OPS on-prem and off-prem Data Centers. The proposed Solution shall replace the Ministry’s existing managed cloud security service.
Scope of Work
The proposed Solution shall provide a service, enabled by technology, to enable its delivery of state-of-the-art, highly visible, and scalable secured access for the OPS’ various endpoints (users, machines / devices, and networks). The Solution includes the following components:

i. Solution Technology Enablers
• Consolidated Platform
• Secure Web Gateway (SWG) Internet security controls
• Firewall-as-a-Service next-gen firewall security controls (FWaaS)
• Zero Trust Network Access security controls (ZTNA)
• Cloud Access Security Broker security controls (CASB).

ii. Solution Operational Enablers – Managed Services
• Case Management and Integration
• Security Incident response
• Log Analysis and Reporting
• Security posture compliance management and reporting
• Centralized policy management and reporting
• Service platform design and administration
iii. Solution Adoption Enablers
• Vendor Project Team
• Service Management
• Migration Support
