Description

ICBC welcomes responses from qualified respondents in Northern Region with relevant experience and expertise in the provision of services for cleaning, plus the safe removal and disposal of bio-hazardous materials found and recovered from driveable, non-drivable and total theft vehicles.
Some vehicles may contain hazardous materials such as needles etc., which require special attention. If there are needles present, there may also be vomit, narcotics, including fentanyl, blood or other bloodborne pathogens/bodily fluids. Therefore, special attention, extensive search, steam cleaning, applying disinfectants, removing seats, carpets and headliners may be necessary to ensure the safety of the owners, business partners and ICBC personnel who perform work on, or enter into the vehicles.
