Description

The Township of Alnwick/Haldimand is soliciting bids from qualified consultants to complete detailed design, development tender preparation including structural slab, associated refrigeration equipment, rink boards and glass.

PROJECT PURPOSE AND DESCRIPTION
The Township is seeking a consultant to design, manage the construction and provide contract administration for the replacement of the ice rink floor slab project at the Haldimand Community Memorial Arena. The Haldimand Memorial Arena is a 74-year-old facility. Although it is well maintained it has been extended beyond its estimated useful life through routine, repairs, maintenance and upgrades. While the community contemplates and plans for long term goals for recreational facilities these immediate facility refurbishments are required to continue to offer artificial ice to our passionate residents.
