The University of British Columbia (“UBC”) is a global centre for teaching, learning and research, consistently ranked among the top 20 public universities in the world and recently recognized as North America’s most international university. UBC has two (2) main campuses situated in Vancouver and Kelowna.

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather information about UBC’s requirements identified. This information will help UBC understand available solutions and best practices for implementing a secure, accessible, and barrier-free exam delivery system that upholds academic integrity and reinforces UBC’s reputation for quality education in online environments. Additionally, the response may be useful with respect to potential future procurement or other processes or initiatives by UBC.
Information sought:

Approaches to ensuring ease of use for students and faculty.
Methods and measures for preserving academic honesty and credibility in remote and on-site bring-your-own-device style assessments.
Options for technical and administrative support models for both students and faculty.
