Description

Supply of CRAC cooling system for CHIME (Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment), and (optional) installation services. UBC seeks proposals for the supply, and, optionally, for installation and commissioning of CRAC (Computer Room Air Conditioning) units to support a high-density GPU compute environment housed in a EMI-Shielded room within a 40ft container, located at The Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory in Kaleden, BC. The setup includes 32 computers generating almost 50kW, and requires precision cooling, continuous operation, and fault tolerance.
