21227 - Air Transportation Services to Support Emergency Services, Province of Ontario

The Ministry is seeking one aircraft with a minimum manufacturer’s seating capacity for thirty-seven (37) passengers and a maximum manufacturer’s seating capacity of no greater than fifty (50) passengers for non-scheduled air transportation services under Part VII of the Canadian Aviation Regulations primarily in the Province of Ontario during the term of the contract.

The Ministry may also require that the aircraft be moved, at the Ministry’s option, to other provinces or territories of Canada, or to states in the United States of America, as may be needed and described in greater detail herein.

The air operator will provide various aircraft services required in support of the Ministry’s annual wildland fire suppression operations and emergency response and other provincial emergency management services both in and outside of fire situations under Instrument Flight Rules conditions.

The air operator will also provide aircraft services required in support of other provincial emergency management services or states of the United States of America emergency management services, such as evacuation aircraft and personnel transport for emergency services.
