Description

The District of Kitimat is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to select up to two (2) multidisciplinary consulting firms to provide professional engineering and related services on an "as and when required" basis for the 2026-2028 term. The Agreements will each be for three (3) years, with an option to extend for one (1) additional year, up to a maximum of two (2) years, upon mutual agreement.

It is the District's intention that both Consultants will have equal standing and will be allocated a comparable annual volume of work, subject to budget and project needs (estimated to be approximately $600,000 per year per Consultant). Assignments will be issued on an "as and when required" basis in accordance with the District's Procurement Policy.
