Description

The Offer seeks to achieve substantial energy savings for residents of Multi-Unit Residential Buildings (MURBs) by offering home energy assessments, energy coaching to support behavior change, and the installation of air-source heat pumps, by qualified PDA(s). The primary goals of the Offer include:

● Addressing energy equity through offer delivery by making energy efficiency more accessible to income qualifying customers in MURBs. This involves mitigating barriers to participation, such as addressing affordability, availability, and awareness.
● Increasing participation for tenants of MURBs, particularly renters, who are historically underserved by energy efficiency programs.
● Providing qualifying households with the opportunity to improve energy efficiency, comfort, and safety through the installation of an air-source heat pump and two-years of servicing and maintenance.
● Supporting the retrofit capacity and economy in British Columbia’s marketplace by creating job opportunities and developing skills at a local level.
● Providing excellent customer service to all Offer participants and meet or exceed BC Hydro’s customer satisfaction level standards throughout Offer delivery.
