Description

The City of Swift Current is requesting proposals to solicit submissions from qualified professional consultants to provide engineering services for the 2026 Flood Hazard Mapping Study (2D HEC-RAS). The results will be used for regulatory floodplain management, land-use planning, infrastructure design, and emergency management. Upon receiving submissions, the City will evaluate and enter negotiations with the proponent with the most attractive proposal.
This RFP is for the following engineering services to upgrade the Flood Hazard Mapping:
• Data Review and Collection
• Creek Bathymetric and Topographic Survey
• Hydraulic Modelling
• Flood Inundation Mapping (return periods: 10, 25, 50, 100, 200, 500)
• Flood Hazard Mapping (including two (2) coulee areas)
• Meetings and Reporting
