Description

The City of Courtenay (the City) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to gather information from qualified vendors regarding Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) solutions for utility metering and billing.

The intent of this RFI is to:

Understand currently available AMI/AMR technologies and approaches;
Identify technical capabilities, system architectures, and maturity levels;
Explore implementation considerations, costs, risks, and benefits; and
Inform the development of a potential future Request for Proposal (RFP).
