Description

This Request for Information (“RFI”) is issued by City of Swift Current (the “City”) for the purposes of gathering information about the marketplace in order to assist in the determination of future purchasing options or requirements.

The appropriate assessment and taxation system will be one that can support the following needs:
o Support for municipal assessment and taxation operations within a Canadian legislative context
o Support for revaluation cycles, supplemental assessments, and historical assessment data retention RFI Assessment and Taxation 3
o Assessment notice generation and appeals management
o Taxation extracts for interfacing with financial software to produce invoices for regular and supplemental levy processes
o Availability of APIs or documented interfaces to support system interoperability
o Export & import data option
o Report building and generation
o Document management o Ability to export data for external analytics and business intelligence tools
o Support for audit, historical comparison, and legislative reporting requirements
o Cloud-based (SaaS) or hosted deployment models, including Canadian data residency
o Role-based security, audit logging, and support for modern identity management
o Data migration from legacy assessment systems o Implementation timelines and resource requirements
o Ongoing support, upgrade cadence, and service-level expectations
o Integration with ESRI ArcGIS (parcel-based data, attributes, and mapping)
