The Ministry of Transportation is seeking to establish a Roster of Qualified Vendors to a variety of telecommunication and telecommunication-related work on a regular basis at thirty (30) designated work locations in Northwestern Ontario. This includes twenty-nine (29) Remote Northern Airports, and the Remote Airport Office (RAO) located in Thunder Bay.
Scope of Work
The Remote Airport Office (RAO) oversees telecommunications infrastructure at 29 Remote Northern Airport locations and the RAO headquarters in Thunder Bay. Reliable telecommunications services are essential for supporting airport operations, including air traffic coordination, emergency communications, and administrative functions. These services ensure that staff at remote airports can maintain contact with central offices, coordinate flight activities, and respond effectively to operational needs.
