IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Government of Canada moved its Government Electronic Tendering Service from MERX to Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders.

Since June 1st 2013, Canada makes available Notices of Proposed Procurement (NPP), bid solicitations and related documents for download through the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) at Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders.

Canada is not responsible and will not assume any liabilities whatsoever for the information found on websites of third parties.

In the event an NPP, bid solicitation or related documentation would be amended, Canada will not be sending notifications. Canada will post all amendments using GETS. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to regularly consult GETS for the most up-to-date information.

Canada will not be liable for any oversight on the Bidder's part nor for notification services offered by a third party.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION The work included in this project include the rehabilitation of the roof and chimneys of the former officer's barrack, Québec Citadel, QC. This is a copper roof and historic masonery. The work also includes the installation a lightning protection system and a fall protection system.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT There will be a site visit on May 22 2015 at 9 am. Although this visit is not mandatory, it is strongly recommended considering that the work will be performed on site with many constraints, including its difficult access.

Bidders who wish to attend the visit are invited to confirm their presence to the Contracting Officer by email whose address appears Section "Inquiries" below before noon on May 21 2015.

MANDATORY CRITERIA AT CLOSING DATE - The Bidder shall enclose bid security with its bid;

MANDATORY CRITERIA PRIOR TO CONTRACT AWARD - CODE OF CONDUCT CERTIFICATIONS - CONSENT T0 A CRIMINAL RECORD VERIFICATION:

Bidders must provide with their bid or promptly thereafter a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder. If the required names have not been received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide the information. Failure to comply will render the bid non-responsive.

Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals aforementioned within the time specified. Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the time period provided will result in the bid being declared non-responsive.

PERIOD OF WORK The work is to be completed by April 1st 2016.

BUDGET The budget, for this project, is between 1 000 001 $ and 5 000 000 $
