Requirement:

The Laurentian Forestry Centre (Canadian Forest Service (CFS)-Quebec) of Natural Resources Canada needs a confocal laser scanning microscope (CLSM) with spectral detection. With this CLSM, it will be possible for instance to obtain unprecedented observations during gene expression, the localization of pathogens or key molecules associated with host-pathogen interactions. For the CFS teams working in priority fields such as genomics, pest control or wood differentiation, this CLSM will allow them to produce innovative results and thus will give the CFS an opportunity to increase its influence at the international level.
