Requirement : Marine Atlantic Inc has a requirement for a one year Standing offer (SO) for the purchases of two types of mattresses, Coil Filled type Mattresses and 7 inch Depth Foam type Mattresses for Shipboard use for Passengers and Crew on four passenger ferries. The Offeror must supply and deliver the mattresses to North Sydney, Nova Scotia.

Crew Mattress

constructed of 312/336 Bonnel Coil, Double edge guard with 1½ Foam Topper, Fiber Pad insulator,

2 x 1 ½

FR SOLAS Foam FR Barrier withmulti needled quilt and Fire Retardant Stripe Tick taped edges 6 faces. Various sizes. Estimated usage: 464 units.

Passenger Mattress

constructed of 4 ¾ Fire Rated Foam Core to meet SOLAS , Fire Retardant FR Stripe Tick with taped edges, 2x1 FR SOLAS CV Foam and FR Barrier multi needled FR quilt. Various Sizes. Estimated usage: 1,215 units

The estimate usage must not be interpreted as a guarantee of actual usage.

Mattress to be certified to meet Part 9 of Annex 1 of the IMO FTP Code and IMO Resolution A.688 (17) and a testing certificate to be provided, no product will be accepted unless an approved testing certificate is provided.

The requirement is limited to Canadian goods.

Enquiries: To assure a response before the closing date, all enquiries about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received by the Contracting Authority at least 5 calendar day prior to the closing date.
