This amendment is to publish a Question & Answer regarding the reqquirement of this Request for Proposal.

Note to bidders: Please be sure to include any and all amendments of this Request for Proposal with your bid.

************************************* The National Research Council (NRC) located in Boucherville, Quebec, Canada needs to replace its LaserBlast1000 laser cleaning equipment and wishes to purchase two (2) new laser cleaning systems that will serve different projections rooms in the context of various projects of the thermal spraying group within the Automotive and Surface Transportationportfolio.

Please refer to the Request for Proposals (RFP) for all the details relating to the requirement.

Bids will be assessed in accordance with the entire requirement of the Request for Proposal including the technical and financial evaluation criteria.

A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive.

The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award.

A bid may be submitted in either official language of Canada.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

Public Works and Government Services Canada provides services in both official languages of Canada.
