TITLE:

TRAILER FOR A MOBILE LABORATORY

DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMENT: Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC)

Valcartier Research Centre has a requirement for the acquisition of a trailer for mobile laboratory in which will be installed equipment of research, to be delivered at DRDC Valcartier, building 53, 2459 de la BRAVOURE Road, Quebec City, QC.

The trailer will be divided into two rooms, where one of these rooms (rear room) will host a laser system on a table view. This room back will need to have a stable temperature and air conditioning, with a HEPA EPA. For reasons of security lasers, the rear room that welcomes the laser system shall be separated by a wall with a pedestrian door with a red light flashing on top of it. Finally, the room before the trailer will host the chiller unit and control unit of the laser system, as well as a frequency converter for power, in accordance with the general specifications, structural and electrical systems as described in the Annex A - Requirement of this request for proposal.

DELIVERY: All the deliverables must be received no later than eight (8) weeks after contract award.

TECHNICAL EVALUATION CRITERIA:

Mandatory technical criteria: The Bidder must have carried out and completed within the last 5 years at least one project consisting of designing a truck box or a trailer or a semi-trailer. To be considered, the project must have a value of at least 20 000$CAD (including taxes).
