The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement to procure 23 Lightweight See Spot Optic (SSO) systems for use by Canadian Army Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTACs), for the purpose of observing the point of impact for laser target designator laser spot, as well as decoding the Pulse Repetition Frequency (PRF) code.
