This procurement process is subject to a national security exception and is, therefore, excluded from all of the obligations of the trade agreements.

THIS LETTER OF INTEREST (LOI) IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND NO CONTRACT WILL RESULT FROM IT.

Intent: Canada is seeking interest from hotels in the Quebec City region with the capacity and availability to provide commercial accommodation services in support of the 2018 G7 Summit, who meet the mandatory requirements detailed in this Letter of interest (LOI).

Estimated requirements are estimates ONLY. These estimates are not to be understood as firm requirements. The estimate of the requirement could change throughout the Summit planning.

A Request for Proposal (RFP) may be sent directly to interested suppliers who meet the mandatory requirements. Canada may also contact other suppliers. This is not a bid solicitation and no contract will result from this Letter of Interest. Potential suppliers should neither reserve stock, facilities, nor allocate resources as a result of any information contained in this Letter of Interest.

The requirement description provided in this LOI is for planning purposes only. Should PSPC proceed with a solicitation, additional information, terms and conditions and resulting contract clauses will be provided.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
