RFP-CEIS-01-15-2018 - Alberta Supports referral based Job Placement Services

The goal of this service is to provide supports to clients with the intention of identifying, addressing and managing their barriers to employment, realizing their potential, understanding how they can contribute to the labour market, make informed career decisions, develop realistic education, training and employment plans and to prepare for, find and maintain employment.

Clients categorized as ETW (Expected To Work) and or BFE (Barriers to Fulltime Employment) underemployed, and others who have been referred by a Career and Employment Consultant (CEC) or Support and Financial Services Coordinator (SFSC) into this service, will receive supports that are client driven, client centred and optimally, with an outcome which benefits the client financially and socially. Each Albertan has potential and deserves the dignity of reaching that full potential. The services will provide a job club which will contain components such as various life skills topics, job search, job placement opportunities, basic employment preparation assistance and ongoing follow-up and support to prepare for and maintain participants in sustainable employment that reflects current and projected labour market demand. Services will be a combination of group work, workshops, and one-to-one supports.
