Scope of the work includes, but is not limited to, the following:
* traffic accommodation
* shoulders must be pulled a minimum of 2 meters from shoulder towards toe of slope
* total uniform pulverization of vegetative product that is brought onto road surface> Product that is to be incorporated into the road surface shall be consistent in nature with no lumps, clumps or large masses.
* side-slopes must be kept between at a minimum of 3:1; 4:1 is preferred in areas which allow
* culverts within the project scope will be marked by Thorhild County Public Works, Should marked culverts become damaged by the contractor Thorhild County reserves the right to recover costs in the repair of the marked culverts. Culverts that have not been marked are the responsibility of Thorhild County should repairs be needed.
*a minimum 8 meter finished road surface must be maintained throughout the project. Should the contractor encounter a section where the finished road surface would be less than 8 meters with pulling of the shoulders, the contractor will consult with the Director of Operations to find viable alternatives and alterations.
*a minimum of 98% compaction must be achieved through the use of sheep foot, smooth drum and wobbly wheel packers
* all ditches must be finished to a smooth surface free of lumps, clumps and large debris.

* all routes utilized by the Contractor must be maintained by the Contractor, keeping the routes free of ruts, ridges and washboard
*It is the responsibility of the Contractor to source and haul sufficient water for the duration and completion of the project; if water sources is further than 10 kilometers from jobsite, additional trucking and costs may be charged.
*It is the responsibility of Thorhild County to apply appropriate herbicides (i.e. Round-Up) or mow slopes within 2 weeks of contractors scheduled work within that area
*a minimum of 4 kilometers of road rehabilitation must be completed daily. It is imperative that thius threshold be met in order for re-gravelling to take place by County equipment at a reasonable and productive pace. This pace also allows for minimum disturbance and interrupted traffic flow for ratepayers and commerce.
*Contractors may charge a fuel surcharge. Fuel surcharge must be included in the unit price schedule with a note indicating when the fuel surcharge will be invoked.
*Contractor is responsible for all First Calls for the project.
