Description

The Alberta Fire Chiefs Association is inviting proposals from qualified firms or other agencies to lead and compile survey results as part of the 2018 Stakeholder Engagement of the Alberta Fire Service Core Competency Review.

The Association requires engagement with a minimum of 65% of municipalities within the province of Alberta, having a population of 20,000 or less. The AFCA has established seven regional zones; each region shall be 50% surveyed. The Stakeholder Engagement will focus on Paid-on-Call/Volunteers departments, or composite departments, that deliver service primarily with Paid-on-call/volunteers.

The survey methods will be web-based survey (all departments), telephone survey (40% of departments in each region), and face to face survey (40% of departments for each region).

A thorough review of the published 2017 Alberta Fire Chiefs Association Survey - Final Report conducted by Bannister Research and Consulting is required to avoid duplication of time and data.

Qualification requirements must be met.
