19TDRPCR102/104/107/109/111 - Solid Waste Management and Removal - Various Alberta Parks Campgrounds

There is a requirement for removing Solid Waste from the campgrounds at the following Provincial Parks and Provincial Recreation Areas:

19TDRPCR109 - Aspen Beach Provincial Park
19TDRPCR111 - Crimson Lake Provincial Park
19TDRPCR104 - Gleniffer Lake Provincial Recreation Area and Red Lodge Provincial Park
19TDRPCR102 - Jarvis Bay Provincial Park
19TDRPCR107 - Pigeon Lake Provincial Park and Zeiner Campground

This contract will ensure that the campground sites within the Provincial Parks and Provincial Recreation areas are clean for public use. Service are to be provided for 3 year periods. As-requested service will be provided from approximately May 1 to March 31 for the term of the agreements, beginning May 1, 2018 to March 31, 2021, or as funds are available in the contract budget.

By establishing the Solid Waste Contract for this area, Alberta Environment and Parks – Parks Division is ensuring that solid waste in the Parks and Provincial Recreation Areas is collected and disposed of at an approved disposal facility. This service provides the public that visit these Provincial Parks and Provincial Recreation Areas with clean campgrounds to enhance the enjoyment of their camping experience with Alberta Parks. This is a high impact service contract as it creates a positive impact on the environment and provides the public with well maintained facilities within the provincial Parks and Provincial Recreation areas.
