AUC-19-01 - Sound services and equipment rentals for Alberta Utilities Commission hearings

The Alberta Utilities Commission is seeking proposals for the provision of sound technician and related services, when and where required, to provide onsite sound services during public hearings. The vendor will be required to control the overall sound levels and tonal qualities throughout AUC hearings. The vendor will supply, setup, support and takedown the equipment required to manage the sound (such as graphic equalizer, mixer board etc.) in addition to providing other equipment (such as bookcases, chairs etc.) as requested. The vendor will be required to become familiar with AUC hearing requirements, provide setup assistance to the onsite venue coordinator to meet AUC guidelines and provide webcasting support. The technician will work closely with other vendors, such as court reporters, in a professional, public environment. On occasion, vendor personnel will be required to sign confidentiality undertakings when hearings are conducted in camera.
