18-1721 - Bonnybrook Wastewater Treatment Plant - Cogeneration Expansion Project

Bonnybrook Wastewater Treatment Plant; 4302 15 Street SE, Calgary AB Description Construct a 5MW expansion to the plant's cogeneration facility and upgrade various existing cogeneration systems. Upgrade and expansion of the plant's existing Power Generation and Heating facility, including a building addition, new 4MW combustion turbine generator, new 1MW steam turbine generator, new steam boilers, new fuel gas conditioning and ancillary systems. Unless specified otherwise in the Information Table under Agreement(s), Term, Renewal and Proof of Concept (PoC), it is The City’s intention to enter into an Agreement with only one (1) legal entity. The Agreement may include a PoC for a period to be specified in the Information Table. The term of the Agreement will be (i) for so long as it takes to perform the Deliverables and honour any warranties if there is no term specified in the Information Table OR (ii) for the term specified in the Information Table. If indicated in the Information Table and agreed to by the parties, the Agreement may be renewed for the period of time specified in the Information Table on the same terms and conditions, including price, unless otherwise specified or agreed by the parties. Other agreement(s) related to the use or maintenance and support of any of the Deliverables may also be negotiated and executed on behalf of The City

This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.
