Description

Red Deer Public Schools invites Bids in respect of supply of materials, equipment and labour for the above project located at 4204 – 58 Street in Red Deer, Alberta.
The Work involves:
1. Remove conventional insulated Built Up Roofing systems from the specified Roof Section, approximately 7,250 square feet..
2. Apply new conventional insulated SBS Modified Bituminous Membrane Roofing system.
3. Install new sheet metal flashings related to the roofing systems.
4. Replace roof drains.
5. Decommission and recommission mechanical and electrical systems in conjunction with roof replacement.
6. Provide a 10 year total system warranty, covering materials and installation.
Mandatory Requirements to bid include:
1. Commercial General Liability Insurance with coverage of minimum $5 million dollars.
2. Certificate of Recognition (COR) from Alberta Occupational Health & Safety.
.3 Ten percent (10%) Bid Bond in the form of a Bond from a licensed Surety.
.4 Letter of Consent of Surety indicating that the Surety will secure the Contract with 50% Performance and 50% Labour and Materials Bonds.
.5 Alberta Workers Compensation Board account in good standing.

The Project schedule calls for the Work to commence June 28, 2019 and achieve substantial completed September 2, 2019..

A mandatory pre-Bid meeting will be held at the site on May 31, 2019, following the previous meeting at Eastview Middle School, which will commence at 9:00 am.

The deadline for receipt of Bids is 3:00:00 pm, Mountain time, June 11, 2019. Sealed envelopes, clearly marked, containing the Bid are to be submitted to 4747 53 Street, Red Deer, AB T4N 2E6. Late bids will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.

Red Deer Public Schools makes the award decision and issues the Agreement.
