19-029 - NOI 19-029 Continue Services Provided by Mount Royal University (MRU)

The City of Calgary (“The City”) is proceeding with the following acquisition.

SCOPE OF PROJECT:
The City is providing Notice of Intent to continue its current services provided by Mount Royal University (MRU) for the provision and administration of Targeted Selection courses owned by Developmental Dimensions International (DDI).

This procurement includes targeted selection courses based on a series of one-day workshops to include the provision of:
- Facilities
- Certified DDI Targeted Selection Facilitator
- In room refreshments
- Course materials
- Registration services
- Participant certificate
- Talent Acquisition evaluation summaries

The estimated total cost for the above provision and administration of Targeted Selection courses is estimated to be $53,000 CAD. The contract will be from 2019-07-01 to 2020-06-30 and will be subject to performance reviews.

It is the intent of The City to award this contract for the following reason(s):
a) Under New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWTPA) exemption (b) “from a public body or a not-profit organization”.
b) MRU has the capability to provide training in a consistent manner for interviews using a specific demonstrated effective methodology valuable to support administration.
c) MRU has the capability to provide an adult learning facility with all the required tools, materials and equipment that are needed to conduct effective training required for this program.

For consideration any party that wishes to address this procurement action must submit in writing the following information:
a) Firm name and contact information;
b) Relevant specific information regarding the firm’s ability to address the specified procurement;
c) Ability to offer competitive products and services that will be advantageous to The City ; and
d) Brochures, marketing information and other non essential materials should NOT be included.

Information package must be submitted in English and need not be more than two (2) pages in length.
e) Responses to the NOI must be submitted and electronically on the MERX portal located online at:
www.calgary.merx.com
f) All responses to this NOI must be submitted on or before the Submission Deadline.

Questions regarding this NOI must be submitted using the “Q & A Tab” in the MERX online system at the location cited above.

No communications with respect to the NOI are to be directed to anyone other than the City Contact, or by any other method outside of the “Q & A Tab” in the MERX system. The City is under no obligation to provide additional information and The City will not be responsible for any information provided or obtained from any source other than the City Contact.

The City reserves the right to determine the relevance of any communication and accept or reject the communication as deemed in the best interest of The City.
