Description

Demographic/Enrolment Software Program.

Rocky View Schools (RVS) is considering a software program that assists with student projections, mapping, as well as school boundary analysis. The area RVS serves includes three high growth municipalities and County lands, which has hamlets of high growth. The software program will need to locate students accurately and project student enrolments for both these urban and rural areas. The software program will need to analyze the impact of boundary, grade structure, and program changes. It will be used by internal RVS staff for analysis and will be used during public presentations.
Items that need to be explained in the RFP include:
•Other software programs that your software functions with
•What data is used to determine projections
•How County students will be ‘placed’ on a map
If requested, proponents will need to be willing to present to RVS staff as part of the RFP.
