TITLE:

Medical Advisor, DRDC Suffield, AB

REQUIREMENT: Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) has a requirement for a Medical Advisor licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) with the medical knowledge and experience necessary to advise on hazards affecting the health and safety of DRDC SRC employees involved in the research program, to administer a vaccination program, apply to the Special Access Programme (SAP) for use of unlicensed drugs, and to provide advice on and validate an acetylcholinesterase (AChE) monitoring program.

Services required are on an "as and when requested" basis.

The period of the Contract is from date of award to March 31, 2020 plus three (3) option periods of one (1) year.

EVALUATION AND SELECTION:

Mandatory and point rated technical evaluation criteria are included in Annex "E" of the solicitation.

Contractor selection will be based on the highest responsive combined rating of technical merit and price.

The ratio will be 70% for the technical merit and 30% for the price.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
