TITLE:

Counter Improvised Explosive Devices - Simulation, DRDC Suffield, AB

REQUIREMENT: Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) -Suffield Research Centre is conducting an R&D program to counter the threat from Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) in current and future operations. The intent of this program is to test handheld counter improvised explosive devices (CIED) as unmanned aerial system (UAS) payloads. In support of this R&D program, Suffield Research Centre has a requirement for a Contractor to design, fabricate, modify and install mechanical and electrical devices and installation fixtures for mounting CIED equipment on the UAS simulation apparatus, or for modifying equipment. It may also be necessary for the Contractor to assist with the development and/or execution or scientific testing along with analysis and reporting.

The services will be required through Task Authorizations.

The Contract will be effective from the date of contract award to 2022-March-31.

SECURITY: There are security requirements associated with this requirement. For additional information, consult Part 6 - Security, Financial and Other Requirements, and Part 7 - Resulting Contract Clauses.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).

The requirement is solely limited to Canadian services.
