Description

Part A - SW Dike
Generally, the scope of work for the Southwest Dike may include stripping, undercutting, base preparation, contractor borrow and placement of non-permeable clay fill material, local cut-and-fill earthworks, access road construction, coordination of ATCO gas line relocation, twin bridge-size culvert construction, erosion protection measures, landscaping and other related works necessary to complete the project. The Southwest Dike is approximately 2,600 m long with a wide parallel swale on the western side.
Part B - 12 Avenue SW Reconstruction
The scope of work for the 12 Avenue SW Reconstruction may include sanitary main replacement, water main replacement, storm main and culvert replacement, 12 Avenue SW full road structure removal and replacement, including curb, gutters, sidewalks, pathways, coordination of Fortis streetlight installation, erosion protection, tree protection, landscaping and other related works necessary to complete the project. The 12 Avenue SW Reconstruction is approximately 1,500 m long.
