Description

The Royal BC Museum (RBCM) is seeking a highly qualified firm for Janitorial Services at their site located at 675 Belleville Street in Victoria BC.

Total square footage: Approximately 29,000 sq. m (~310,000 sq. ft.), broken down:

Exhibitions/Glass Lobby: 17,000 sq. m (~183,100 sq. ft.)
Curatorial Building (Fannin Tower): 8000 sq. m (~86,400 sq. ft.)
Archives Building: 3900 sq. m (~42,200 sq. ft.)
Other on-site buildings: 100 sq. m (~1,000 sq. ft.)

Physical site includes the Royal British Columbia Museum, Curatorial Building (Fannin Tower), the BC Archives, Helmcken House, Mungo Martin House, St Ann's Schoolhouse, Thunderbird Park and the Netherlands Carillon. The 2-hectare complex is located on a ¾ city block bordered by Douglas, Government and Belleville Streets.
