2012MT - Residential Home Modification Project - Taber, Alberta

The WCB is seeking a Contractor to complete a residential modification in Taber, Alberta as per the specifications and drawings available in this IFB. The modifications will consist of:
A. New Back Entrance – Additional space will be added to the back of the home for a new back entrance that will provide on-grade access and a residential elevator to provide access to the main floor and the basement.
B. Enlarged Master Bedroom and Master ensuite – Additional space will be added to the back of the home to house a larger master bedroom and a wheelchair accessible master ensuite complete with a curbless shower area.
C. New Residential Elevator – A new 3-stop residential elevator will be supplied and installed to provide access from the ground to the main floor and to the basement.
D. New Accessible Kitchen – Additional space will be added to the kitchen area to allow for a fully wheelchair accessible kitchen.
E. New Laundry in Basement – All new additional space will also be additional space for a new wheelchair accessible laundry area and storage.
F. Site Modifications and Other Modifications – Site modifications will include all new service features and a new concrete area for outdoor sitting and leisure. All other modifications will include new flooring and painting throughout the entire home, doors, windows, lights and plumbing fixtures, plus all required structural, heating and electrical alterations.
