The intent of this RFQ is to find a Successful Proponent capable of providing the Work described immediately below. The Work is to be performed at the Town of Canmore. A more detailed description of the Work can be found in Appendix 1 (Information).
EPCOR, on behalf of the Town of Canmore is working on a fire flow improvement upgrade of the existing water distribution system from the Grassi Reservoir to the boundary of Dead Man’s Flats.
The proposed Work involves the installation of three (3) pressure reducing valve (PRV) vaults. Two (2) vaults will be installed at the upstream of Miskow Close and Hubman Landing. Another PRV will be installed at Stewart Creek Drive.
Each PRV vault has the main PRV valve sized for the full flow and a bypass smaller PRV designed for daily flow. The smaller PRV will be equipped with optional insertion flow meter.
