2020BRS - Pincher Creek Business Recovery Support

The Town of Pincher Creek is requesting responses from qualified individuals to develop and implement a Business Recovery Support Program (BRSP). Business and community leaders recognize that small business is the backbone of our economy and these businesses need assistance now. The goal of the Pincher Creek BRSP is to keep as many local businesses in operation and provide a unified approach to support local businesses in business recovery and build future resiliency to better withstand future economic impacts.

The Town of Pincher Creek and the surrounding rural area is a community of approximately 7,000 residents and ~500 businesses. The business sector is a very dynamic mix of businesses from agri-businesses, to oil and gas, manufacturing, retail, tourism and hospitality. While there are a number of large employers in the region, the business base is primarily small, owner-operator entrepreneurs with 1 to 3 employees.
