Description

The City is seeking a Consultant to undertake a Review of Infrastructure Capacity. This study will evaluate the City of Edmonton’s infrastructure capacity within selected study areas from the nodes and corridors identified in the City Plan.

The primary deliverable of the study will include current infrastructure capacity and options and recommendations for improvements to meet the target development scenarios accommodating up to 2 million people.

The Review of Infrastructure Capacity will investigate each study areas focusing on active transportation / mobility, water infrastructure, drainage servicing, and franchise / shallow utility infrastructure to provide an overall evaluation of:
- The development readiness of the area given current infrastructure, and
- The current-dollar costs to improve infrastructure to support the target development scenario.
