Description

The Town of Millet is requesting proposals for the design\renovation of the "Old School" which is located at 4528 - 51 Street Millet, AB to include the following:
Town of Millet Administration Office (approximately 4000 sq. ft)
Town of Millet Library (approximately 4000 sq ft.)
Community Hall (in the former gymnasium)
Potential future pre-school
General meeting space
Renovations must include
Upgrading the mechanical (including air-conditioning) and electrical systems to allow independent control of each area.
Upgrades to the building's exterior finish including roofing materials and repairs to capture the buildings historical characteristics.
Given the economic challenges as a result of Covid-19 in the region, this project is proposed to help bring money into the region. Proponents must ensure 50% of their subtrades are from within a 25km radius of Millet to provide economic benefit to the region.
