Description

This RFP is an invitation for qualified and experienced proponents to submit offers for the provision of payment card processing services for RDC’s point-of-sale and ecommerce systems. RDC is seeking a proponent that is able to provide payment processing services for payments received via debit cards, credit cards, interact-e-transfer, etc.

RDC currently RDC uses Touchnet as its payment gateway provider, to provide a comprehensive and secure payment solution for student accounts integrated with Ellucian Banner.

RDC currently has 25 merchant numbers and utilizes 15 standalone pinpad terminals and 6 long range wireless for payment processing services. It is RDC’s intention to work with the selected vendor to streamline and reduce the number of merchant numbers.

It is RDC’s intention to enter into the Form of Agreement attached as Appendix A to this RFP with only one (1) legal entity. The term of the agreement is to be for a period of three (3) years with an option in favour of RDC to extend the agreement on the same or similar terms and conditions for an additional two (2) year term. It is anticipated that the agreement will commence on November 2, 2020.

Proposals received will be evaluated via a three (3) stage method in which the highest ranking proponent will be invited to enter negotiations with RDC.
